A retro of an classic, MJ originally wore these during the 1997 NBA Playoffs, in addition to the black and red “Flu Game” XII’s. Don’t get these mixed up with the Taxi’s. These contain black leather on the upper part of the shoe, and white leather on the side panels.
They feature a black leather upper with lizard skin print on the white portion of the upper. The red in the official colorway refers to the accents, including the Jumpman logo on the tongue. The design of the Air Jordan 12 (XII) is based on the Nisshoki, which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century womens dress boot. It features stitched leather portions which radiate outward like the sun’s rays. The bottom features a white colorway, with black inserts which feature a modified herringbone pattern, which is great for grip and traction.

These shoes are for my son for school this year. He has been wearing them for approx. 2 months now and no problems. No tears of anything coming loose. My son says that they are very comfortable and this is the second straight year of getting this brand and model.
